Sep 1 My ecopr just came in...first my wife one came in and after few sec mine...remember we concluded they had reached their limit for Aug...that's why they released the first day of September...guys how to track pr card using gckey?
Yes-congratulations! . There is currently no way to track the first card in GCKey while it is being automatically issued, however you could monitor on your CGKey/PR Portal the following eCOPR → PR Portal photo/address review → photo approved → PR card produced → mailed to you.

I got a call from an IRCC agent to update my husband's passport and proof of status(WP). He has a open work permit. Also to update form IMM 5406/0008. I got legally married few months ago so I updated that when I got P1 in Aug 20th. My concern is this, should I add him as a dependent or not. I ask this because he has the OINP option (he is at EOI stage in the application process) and I am just tired of waiting for my PR process to be concluded. When I called IRCC yesterday, the agent said "your application has received final decision". I am at the final stage of my application, waiting for my P2 /ECOPR and PR card. Knowing that adding a dependent can push that forward is making feel unsettled. I will appreciate your honest feedback please.

P.S: My husband also doesn't want it delayed anymore - it's been 37months.

Hi everyone,
I have a question. My work permit will be expiring on 20th December. When I would apply ? Last time I applied 5 months earlier and it took too long to get. And I don’t know may it was the reason . Simone plz can guide me. Thanks
i applied about a little over a month and got extension few weeks after. they sent my WK within 6weeks. It somehow got lost in transit and they re-issued another which about a week later. So, you could try 60 days before it expires.

You generally have to declare him to IRCC. You should not leave him off simply because you want your own PR finalized faster. The important distinction is “declare your husband” vs. “make him an accompanying dependent.” Then IRCC adding a dependent can make an application take longer because IRCC has to process the request and assess the dependant's eligibility/admissibility.

On Permanent Resident Portal.

Address: Accepted

Photo: Accepted.

It says this portal will be inactive affect 30 days and I won't have access again.

I guess the PR card is on the way ?

I always applied a month in advance and received it within 2 to 7 days.

Yes, I included him as my spouse. I just want to be sure if adding as dependent would impact him in any way in the event that we have to go the spousal sponsorship route.
