2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Hello does anyone have an idea. Timeliness. November 11 2023. Apllied for pr, received pre arrival and eligibility letter both applicants and inland dependant. Security passed for applicant on the 9th July 2026 and security started the same day with dependant. Up until now its still in process thats the only thing left . Does anyone knows when FD is likely to be. Anyone been in the situation before.

I was outside Canada when I got P1, so I replied stating I'd return on August 19.
I landed back in Canada and replied to the same email chain with my proof of entry (boarding pass + stamp) confirming I'm back.
How long does it usually take to receive Portal 2 (P2) after sending the return update? Also do I need to do anything else?

I won't be checking any updates again. The anxiety this is causing me is crazy. Almost 2month waiting for P1/P2. I will be back when I receive both. Congratulations to everyone.

oh, thats what i needed to know. but did you link your pr card to your gc key? and if you did, did you get any email alert for a pr card update on your gckey?

When they send the card, you will get an update in your email to open your GCKey.

How do you know when photo is approved. Do you check PR portal, gckey portal or you recieved an email?

It shows in GCKey as ghost update when your address is accepted. It will also show as ghost uodate when your photo is aporoved. You wont get an email for that. You will only get an email when your card is sent which will show final decision. Note that this is for those that link their card with GCkey.

Am Jun 2023 applicant , I haven’t received FD yet. should I do any action or just wait?

Ur application is now more than 3 years old. IRCC says that if an application is beyond the normal processing time, you can contact IRCC through the web form to ask about it. U could send an IRCC webform asking for a status update and explaining that the application was submitted in June 2023 and FD is still pending.

my friend got additional document request this week about his military service even there is nill.

Has anyone recently received an ADR at the final stage? How long did it take for the final decision to arrive?

My friends, it is so strange just for being relax, my portal still says my photo and address is under review while i got my PR CARD 2 days ago. it is so strange.... just keep calm...... IRCC processing is so weird..

Sometimes IRCC staff/operators don’t update the online portal immediately, even though the actual processing has already been completed.

They asked military proof on June 1st and I provided a proof since I never been in military. How long it usally take to get decision after sending military form. Its been almost 2 months. I am really tired of this unfairness people who applied 1 2 years after me got PR already.

If military service hasn't been served, what kind of answer do we give? And if military service hasn't been completed, is it necessary to fill out the IMM-5546e form?

I don't think that would be a problem, if you have provided a different email address on your application they will email that one in case they wisht to send a separate P1 email, other than that any updates would be sent to PA's email address as you were included in the application from day one
Most probably they will link your file to your husband's portal once they finalized your application

We used a single email address for both.
