I’m an August 2023 applicant as well. Disappointing that most April and May have not started receiving final decisions or p1
I think IRCC is making the framework for the one time approval of 115000 cases. Let us hope for the best. I expect by mid of 2026 major approval will be done.
I’m in August 2023 as well. They could’ve announced the one-time initiative after the new year and ended this nightmare for thousands of people. They just do it on purpose to make people suffer
Funny part is they told my MP that I should expect my final decision after April 2027 lol
Unfortunately Bill C-2 is still proceeding through Parliament and is not yet law. I hope IRCC is putting things in place to fast track our applications in anticipation that this bill will be passed.

It’s still pending for the third reading, which will take another 6 months if everything goes well. Our nightmare continues
What does speeding up applications have to do with the law? It was related to the budget, and the budget has been passed.
