It looks like this years allocated limit for us was 27,000. Does anybody happen to know how many application approved in 2025 so far ?https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2024-2026.html#:~:text=135,000-,Refugees and Protected Persons,40,000,-Resettled Refugees – Government

The mass approval I mentioned in different topics was something like this.In addition to the levels plan, the budget proposes a “one-time” initiative to recognize “eligible” protected persons as permanent residents over the next two years. The budget describes this as a “practical step,” since many protected persons can’t return to their home countries.
The government has not yet released details on which protected persons will be eligible.

If it’s similar to TR to PR in 2021, we need to stay alert to IRCC announcements because this will be temporary, and we might have to apply for it instead of receiving it automaticallyThe Liberals say they will also introduce a one-time measure to expedite the permanent residency status of protected persons — those who have had their asylum claim approved by the Immigration and Refugee Board but are awaiting approval of their residency status.
