Do you think contacting an MP will expedite the process? I haven’t contacted them yet. I am wondering whether we should reach out by email or visit their office. To be honest, I feel hesitant to contact them because I am just a refugee.

Bro it’s really helpful my mp is trying to contact them every month update since this July.

Atleast they won’t forget u, there is conservative issues going on about immigration so they balancing it it will bounce again. Thats y they paused.

And its depend on ur MP too some are not helpful some really are.

Try it!

Thanks a lot, I will. Did you arrange the meeting via email? My concern is that I live in Ottawa, and my MP probably has more important matters than contacting IRCC for a refugee case. By the way, I am a March 10 applicant and I am not sure if my background check has been completed. I requested ATIP notes on June 20th but haven’t received them yet. I also sent them three emails and haven’t gotten a response.

Just email them find ur MP online by ur postal code, they will do everything by email send u one form consent one, first write very strong email saying ur delays effecting ur life or job something, and I guess u will get prompt help as ur MP is in Ottawa.

Hope it works for u and we march applicants get good news this month.
