Hi Guys,
I have been on the forum for a while but only posting now. I applied for PR through representative and my timeline is:
Application: Jun 2022
Pre-Arrival & Eligibility: Sep 2023

I am currently waiting on FD. Will it be a good idea to get access to GCKey and give upuse of representative at this stage? The reason I want to do this because I don't get any updates from the representative unless asked.
Thank you.
you can not access GCKey because you have a representative? do you live QC?

Only my representative have the access through their portal. When I tried to link my application to my GCKey, I was ask to upload a form to release the representative. Is there a way I can access without release of representative?
I am in ON and my case is in Mississauga office.

Im the portal there is a section where to submit the form to remove your representative. You need to print, sign by hand, scan and upload and submit. Thats all.

August 2023 outland spousal applicant in quebec. All steps completed in the tracker and COPR details generated since October 20, 2025, but I haven't heard anything since. Any feedback or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

If I were you, I would keep the representative in charge. The only update you will see is the FD, which is useless because they will send P1 once a decision has been made.
As for the delay in your application, you are in a group with a processing time of 24 months. You should have received your PR about a year ago.

Thanks for your precise response. So I will just keep the representative, just in case I need them in future (hopefully NOT).
Sorry, I put incorrect dates in my original post. Application date is Jun 2023.

Refugee? If yes. You are still on time. If living in Quebec, maybe will take more time. I dont know if the one time resolution includes people in Qc because after you receive your PR Quebec still must accept. It is different situation.
