it is too much delay! where are you from originally? I am also from cursed counry and it is been two years in screening. why did not file manadamus?
I'd rather not say the country of origin, it is a known country with past wars and civil war in the middle east... etc
as for the manadamus, after checking and asking the councilor and MP they suggested to wait a bit longer as it's not a guarantee of success.

personally at this point I am depressed and hate myself to the point it's beginning to affect my work and sleep... the country we came from we had family members who were slaughtered by terrorist groups and yet IRCC treats us like as if we are somehow a threat.
The whole thing doesn't make sense to me. If we are considered a threat, wouldn't it make sense to determine our case in a faster way ???? Why the multi year limbo.

Hi,
I applied for Permanent Residency (PR) in May 2022. My application status currently shows that there are 4 months remaining, but there has been no significant progress for a long time.
I have contacted my Member of Parliament (MP) several times, and each time I was advised to continue waiting. I have also called IRCC on numerous occasions and always receive the same response.
I live in Quebec, while some of my friends who applied later and live in Ontario have already received their PR cards. I would appreciate any information or clarification regarding the status of my application and the reason for the delay.

Keep this post update please.. good luck

all the people from quebec are suffering on delay. Quebec is the wors/very bad place to do immigration.

they want all the people to wait atleast 6 years before you can have ur PR Card.

immigration in quebec is destroying people life and health.

but, the best thing to do is : Send them ur CSQ again or leave the province.

otherwise wait !!!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently waiting on my PR application that I submitted in 2022 from Quebec. I was wondering if there are any people here who applied in 2022 and have already been approved. It would be really helpful to hear your timelines and experiences. Thanks in advance!

It's not just QC , even anywhere in Canada, If you are from a cursed country they will make you suffer and treat you as a short listed person despite you ran away from persecution and being a minority !
