2022 Immigration targets

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know where to find information about how many people were invited to become permanent residents in 2022.

I know the 2022 immigration targets here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...pplementary-immigration-levels-2022-2024.html show that their target for 2022 is to get 55900 people through Federal High Skilled, but how many have been admitted already and how many are still yet to be invited?

FYI - the targets aren't for the number of people invited. It's for the number who are granted PR in that year. So if someone was invited in 2021 but only gets PR this year, they are counted under 2022. For this reason comparing the number of invites this year to the targets this year makes no sense. It's apples and oranges.

I see. I confused both terms together, what I meant was the people who got the PR under year 2022 so far which would count towards the 55900 quota. Would you have any idea how many are they or were to track such number?

55900 will be reached by clearing the backlog alone, which they are well on track. Actually they can drag some of the backlog further to fill next year's quota.
