When you select that in the form it doesn't mean that you need to stay with that employer. Generally, when you're waiting for a WP-EXT you can continue work under the same condition as your original work permit until your application is approved.
Thanks for explaining ☺️

Hopefully, can we travel though?
Im pretty sure we cant travel as i believe we both have wps expiring in sep and obviously TRV would be valid untill sep. so nothing good about it. Untill a new wp or by that time wish pr gets approved then no more headaches of anysort

Hello everyone, I have a few questions about tr-to-pr work permit.
Our application is being processed now (applied on 26th June stream B, AOR - 5th May 2022, medical passed 27th May, waiting for more). My spouse is the principal applicant and I am currently on a study permit now (spouse on a work permit). We both have study and work permits until 2023. But I am looking to get a work permit. Is this possible? And can I start working from the day I applied (now the work permit processing times are 150 days)? And can I also study part-time if I get the work permit (in case my study permit cancels when I get the work permit)?
Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone

Can anybody tell that how i can check that in which office my file is?

And my work permit will expire by dec 2023 , when I should fill the application to extend it?

Not possible. I have almost 100% confident that IRCC won't be able to meet this 6 month standard with their current backlog and processing speed.
They have got slower at everything except new PR cards. Every single other service they provide takes longer than it did 5 months ago, despite an $85 million injection to improve TR processing times. They are a joke.
