I asked my wife not to file online like me and she sent her application by mail, it took only 7 days to receive AOR for her, my online application received to AOR was 77 days, and 162 days and counting after AOR still no response, so far 8 months passed since submission and no news....

Right now they are not processing any new Online applications. New Paper applications are being processed at a very fast pace. This can change at any moment because IRCC does things arbitrarily. You can also look the the spreadsheet to see the few applications posted and the timeframe that they are being processed so you can make a conclusion for yourself.

Paper. Many January 2022 paper applicants are already done, and February paper applicants getting oath. Early 2022 online applicants are lucky even to get test invite. Ever since January 2021, paper applicants have been processed significantly faster than online.

Any news anyone?

Till we get the ATIP report (@wksj filed and waiting) on what's IRCC plan for online applications (starting Oct'21), we need to keep watching the progress of online applicants here in the forum to get a sense of what to expect. Looks like currently it takes around 300 days for test invite.

NOV online applicant, AOR 14 FEB 22, Called CIC today and no movement, application has not been touched since passed 8 months.
My guess is online applications may have to wait the 27 months. The last gcms notes said they only plan to process 5000 online applications and there have been no updates on what to do with the other applicants

I hope I'm wrong but it's seems so. So far anyone who has contacted ircc has been referred to the 27 months processing time. I'll give it till the end of the month to see the reply to @wksj gcms that asks what's their plan for online applications this year. If no reply by then I'll ask https://www.cicnews.com/author/shel...WpneVhsVHBienJvanBXX0VNaTFXdS1TYkc.#gs.8tfma4 to make a news story about it where they directly ask the minister of immigration and ircc to state on public records their reasons for asking us to apply online and then not attending to it at all.
