The current processing times are looking better than 22 months. People who submitted their application in Dec/Jan have been getting their PR. I submitted in March, medicals and biometrics done. If the current timeline continues, then on average, if you have no issues :) it should take less than six months.
This heart warming to know. Pls is there a thread you got this stats/observation? If yes, kindly share.

Secondly pls, at what stage is the biometric done? I know for instance, outlanders are asked to do medicals after submission of application. But I'm at loss as regards the biometrics. Is it required on submission of application or it is requested later on?

Hi, did you applied through EEpnp or are you still waiting for CEC? I am not sure what I should do as PNP takes 22 months.
After speaking with my consultant, and after they announced CEC would only come back in July, I have decided to go the PNP route as well and not wait for CEC draws to resume. Great to hear @Lola34 that you're already seeing progress on your application!

That's a good question. I already had biometrics done from a previous application, and there was a question in the form that asked "have you given biometrics in the past X years", where I checked yes. I think in that case they'll link the existing biometrics file after I submit.

I think if you don't have an existing set of biometrics, IRCC would ask you to make an appointment at some point after you submit your application. That would track with the instructions on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/how-to-give-biometrics.html, where they mention a Biometrics Instruction Letter. But may be better to confirm with someone who was in that situation as I can't say 100%.

check the link above, it helps to track applications and gives an overview of processing times. You can add your case too, to help improve the data collection.

I'm an outlander:D(sorry this is funny) so after medicals were passed, I got the biometrics invitation letter on the same day to give my biometrics. we all knew when it would come because of immitracker, between 45-50 days after AOR.

Thanks! I'm a fresh nominee so I still await ITA, once it comes I believe I will get more abreast with the content of the application and will add my case thereof as you suggested. Thanks once again.

Just received ITA today! I was wondering how did you do the medical test? Did you finish the medical test before submitting your application or IRCC or did you upload proof of appointment and do medical later after submitting your application?

Hi all,

Under Personal History, there is a question:

Have you listed all periods of military...(if any)....organization...(if any)

Should we choose yes, no, or N/A?
