Oh my gosh that's exactly what I felt! But still, it's one step closer now! Hopefully Montreal is quick, they should be given they give you 30 days to land, unlike other provinces where you get a scheduled interview time.
That's for the open work permit. The person you originally responded to asked about the CSQ.
Did you get a DM letter by email from Mississauga (or your processing center, if it was another), and after that a landing invitation email from Montreal?

Hey have you heard from Montreal office yet? It seems pretty slack they haven't contacted me for the landing interview yet, given it's been a week since I got the landing letter and over 2 weeks since I've had DM on ECAS (sep 5). I am so sick of waiting aha. My patience is wearing so thin with this stuff!

Back when we last talked I was upset and spent an hour searching in a facebook group about sponsorship, until I found a similar case, from someone about a year ago.
In that person's case it took Montreal 25 days to make contact, counting from receiving the landing letter...
So my mindset now is "forget about it until mid October"
I will post here as soon as I have something
(but I think you will get it first).
Eugh that's so depressing to hear! My partner is going to call IRCC this week again and just ask what's up. Given we've seen other from Mtl office getting their interviews fast, it makes no sense why the wait is so long. We always have had good interactions calling IRCC tbh, they've always been super helpful with us, so my partner prefers to call than just wait it out if that makes sense.
