I'm AR Dec 2018 Applicant, OINP with inland dependent
AOR march 2019,
MR Sep 2019
PAL: Oct 2019
ADR Jan 2020
June 2021: followed up with MP and they said everything is already done in March 2021 and we are in the queue for final approval
June 2021: File transferred from Sydney to Etobicoke , and ECAs changed from In Progress to Applications received till now.

I was wondering this transfer to Etobicoke is a good thing or bad thing? Why they transferred it? Before transferring to Etobicoke, followed up with MP and they said everything is approved and we are in the queue for approval but we have not received anything yet.

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is doing great.
Any updates/news from Calgary office? Looks like mostly 2018 applications are on hold.

I am July 2018 inland applicant.

No, nothing happened from Calgary office. I am October 2018 in land applicant. Last week I called CIC and they said they are busy at Afghan refugee and can't answer me any questions except for emergency.
Very upset.

Is there anything we can do regarding processing?
I mean sending request through email for processing of previous applications as it’s been more than 3 years now.
Last year applicants are receiving PR now and 2018 applicants are still waiting

Has someone from this group sent email to ircc regarding their application and got some good response?

If yes then please share the details and procedure of doing it.
Your help will be appreciated.

I think sending webform will not be helpful. We can't do anything to fast it. Maybe get a updated gcms nots. I applied it one month ago, but no response up to now.

Got my notes today. Nothing significant, casual IME extensions, casual criminality check extensions.
The more important news - we have got the new Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship - Sean Fraser. Let's see what will be changed.

In case if someone missed this news like I did: IRCC have lost in court in too-long-processing-app case
https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2021/08/12/this-familys-immigration-application-was-in-process-for-57-months-now-a-judge-has-given-ottawa-30-days-to-make-a-decision.html

It may be the last remedy that can save us.
Did he have to keep paying for a BOWP every year? and what is now seen as reasonable? I'm at 24 months (nothing like the poor guy in the link but I'm getting really annoyed.

My status update:
MPNP Candidate inland
AR : November 8 2019
Background Check: Competed June 2020
Medical: Not Required
Bio: Not Required
Interview: Not required
Application Status: 100%
Estimated completion date: July 5th 2021

Heard nothing at all. Getting very very worried that I've been lost in the system. I understand COVID has caused delays and now the refugees from Afghanistan but it's been 2 years since application received and 14 months since I last had any contact.

Again, I am nothing like the person in the linked story but I am at the end of the line with this whole thing. They cant keep dragging this out.
I'm also worried they're prioritizing the online applicants because its easier and will help drive their wait times down, to alter the stats.
