All of us is inland. We graduate from same school, same country, same ago, same marital status.
Did CIC receive you and your friends's application at the same time?

You dont really need PR to get a car. You just have to pay a higher interest rate. I have a car and I dont have PR. You pay the higher interest rate but once you get PR you can go back to the bank and get a lower interest rate. I just think that they should move faster with inland applicants. P>S I had to sell my house and car to pay for my education here too. I know how you feel.
Yeah, it is very hard to see how all your money is gone in Canadian education. Of course is an asset, getting knowledge doesn't hurt and it helps to find jobs, but if you compare with what domestics (PR, Citizens) pay for education you say wow, they should give priority and move faster with Inland applicants.

In regards of the car, well there are companies like Toyota or Honda which do not approve financing to people who are not PR. My financing was refused because of that reason. If you are not PR they ask you down payments of $2500 or $3000 imagine I live in Winnipeg. 3 years and a half surviving to these winters without a car, it has been tough. On the other hand, I'm close to the end. I passed the medical exams and I got the pre-arrival letter. I hope you too :)

CIC received my file on 30th April 2018....still no AOR ...this is depressing
I know the feeling, when I saw people that applied 3 weeks after me get their AOR 2 weeks before me I was pissed!
It seems like they've slowed down the AOR processing times.
Im sure you'll get yours soon

I've noticed a trend that applicants, who applied between Nov 2017 and Feb 2018, moved forward quickly with their applications. After March 2018, things got slow again. My guess is that all PNPs reached enough quotas, thus stopped issuing nominations at the end of 2017. So CIC was less busy during this period. What do you guys think?
