Yes, they did. Manila vo responded to my request for an update. I actually asked if they received my file and if there is any progress. They confirmed receiving my file and even mention when was my file beinb transferred. Days later, they emailed me requesting for my passport, appendix a, advisory on marriages and photos.

That's how vo's differ. Some repond, some may not. Some vo get papers done in no time, some take years... All we can do is pray and hope for the best.

Hi Guys

Can someone tell me that I applied file on April 27 and i received my file no after 3 weeks but until now I have not received any communication even not asking for any documents. So should I think all is gud or not?

I am a bit concerned as the status is also not changed and neither the SA was done till 90 days.

Inquiring or asking from cic misisssauga or your respective visa office for any update wont hurt. The fact that your application is past the processing times gives you the right to ask for an update or follow up regarding your application.

AOR on May 6th
Sponsorship approval on May 13th

On the Ecas website it says for Permanent Residence Application Status
We received CIARAN __________ application for permanent residence on April 10, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

I hear ya DanOCan - I am feeling the same.

I have started my own spreadsheet for myself and I think I am driving myself crazy counting the days! Soooooo frustrating. I have pretty much decided that we are probably getting called for an interview or something.
There was someone that applied and went through the same VO as me and her husband has actually landed already....!!!!

I just keep telling myself and my husband that we will hear something soon.

Application Received is not something I am enjoying seeing day after day after day.

The good news is that I am not alone!

Vienna VO has just requested a police certificate from Montenegro for my hubby as he work for about 1 year going back and forth.
We've been having a very hard time getting that certificate as none of the embassies (or instructions on the CIC site) are helping. They keep telling us that they can't do it

We have 60 days to submit that, so hoping we can figure it out soon to avoid further delays. Vienna seems to be processing applications much faster now.

We are in the same boat as most people on here, SA on April 28 and transferred to Ottawa next day....since then nothing! When is the latest we should be hearing something?? I guess no news is good news though?...hopefully!

sometimes I think maybe they lost the april files somewhere!

May and June applicants are actually showing in process where they are so many of us in April that there is nothing.....

May and June applicants are actually showing in process where they are so many of us in April that there is nothing.....

Most of us think that the IP for the May and June applicants is more of an error because so many of them have it. I've seen even those in July and August with it, too.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's likely just a new employee who started around that time and doesn't realize s/he's doing it.

There was a lot of speculation when all those people when IP in August, and what it meant. I was one of the people who was saying we should be patient and wait and see, rather than speculate that in process meant something different. But since it's been well over 30 days for many of them and they don't have a decision yet, I think it's pretty safe to say that either someone screwed up or there's been a change to what in process means. Based on past history, we should have seen a lot more people have decisions by now.
