Hello all.
I called ns office an hour ago.
And guess what... Same answer. 50 nominations till now and processing mid march apps...
I asked what is mid march ??? 13/3 or 18/3 ... She doesn't know.
And they don't have any estimation on how long its gonna take . it could take another few months from now

I just called NSO and the reply by answeing machine.

I am new in this forum and already uploaded information in the spreadsheet.
Application received by NSOI by 3-17-14, NOC 3233 Licensed Practical Nurse, already licensed as LPN in the Province of Nova Scotia (License scanned and submitted with application), IELTS band score 8.5, Registered Nurse in home country with 2-3 years of professional experience, WES credential sent with application, Employment and settlement plan written in the best of my ability and submitted with efforts of employment (Nova Scotia online job sites)

I need your opinion seniors and forumers:
What do you think are my chances of being selected?

I understand that there are already around 50 nominations sent and the latest app date to receive nomination is 3-12-14. Still can't believe that there is only a hundred nominations left for the rest of the applicants who's application was received until 4-28-14.

In my honest opinion, I am still in doubt whether they would reach opening my application before they are done sending nominations given the pace that they are working on right now.

Honestly speaking, you are having bright chances because skilled registered nurses are HOT skill. Subjected if you have filled and submitted all form correctly and completely.

There is no reason to be negative for your application.

There is no reason to be negative for your application.

I am not worried with the way I filled up my application forms, I have scanned a copy of everything and went through it before and even after I sent them.
I am only worried with the date that they have received my application. I should have used the most expensive courier service if I only knew that even a single day would matter this much. So sad.

i have a question :

1 - if we got nomination letter , can we apply for work permit visa ? (im not sure its for 1 year or 2years ) ?

2- can we simultaneously apply for pr and work permit visa ?

can anyone help me about this issue ? my representative called and emailed novascotia immigration office but we received an automatic answer both by email and phone

my application received to novascotia on 11 march
