I just called nsoi office . They have stopped replying . I think either they have completed 150 nominations or may update their site . They are playing prerecorded message on phone call . Is there any friend who recently talked with them and got any positive reply ?

I don't think that there will be lunch time at 12 noon. It is too early . Something is suspicious . In my view they have completed 150 nominations . If somebody has talked with them recently , then please update here .

Not sure what you mean by "update". If you mean after prescreening email to few corrections in the applications (spelling of names etc), then I submitted the same on 27 June and even though I received the email yesterday, but the nomination letter date states June 27 2014.

I see that your file was submitted 12th of march. Prescreening issued to you may 28. Did they ask anything else from you? I sent mine 13th march, received prescreening june 3. Yeah they are workingg veryyyy slowly.. But atleast the wait us fruitful. Congrats.
They issued nomination via email, that can be printed and be used to submit to cic right?

Yes, my profession is IT. They asked few more questions, have me correct few forms to eliminate spelling mistakes and etc and resubmit.

Yes, the letter can be printed and submitted to CIC, no need for the original as there are no signatures on it, all electronic info which is also sent to CIC by NSNP office.

My application was received in late April, so l m not hoping for being selected anyway. However l would like to have closure, on that end has anyone received refusal notice? i really want to know so l can move on with this. Thanks in advance.

I just spoke to the NSOI officials and that lady said the same thing - 50 nominations have been issued so far and we are working on other files. No timelines that are made available by when the process will be completed . So I guess it's just wait and watch ...

Hello All

I am still at a cross road about the type of questions we post a times and it baffles me.

I have seen questions like who signed letter, what is the title of the letter and what time was it sent or received.

We should all know that NS has more than a worker and files are possibly assigned to different VOs.

Also if someone gets nomination letter the obvious title will be nomination or approval letter.

For time of sending it those who aren't good in GMT conversion may find it hard to express local time.

In as much as we need updates, I see some questions as absolutely needless.
