I am a nurse, my application was received by Parker on April 13, 2014 and I don't know if will I ever still get the pre-screening email though I am confident that I have a complete documents/requirements. I am so confused!

Message from NSNP when I ask for update on their email add... May 28, 2014
I receive this message.

"Hello:

Please note that the Regional Labour Market Demand Stream is closed to new applications as of 5:00 pm April 28, 2014. We will only accept applications postmarked before this date.

Due to the large number of applications we can not give you an update. You will be contacted when your application starts processing. If you have not been contacted it has not entered processing.

For further details please visit our website novascotiaimmigration.ca

If you are are interested in applying for Immigration to Nova Scotia our Skilled Worker Stream (requiring a job offfer) and our Family Business Worker Stream are still up and running. We have a total of 700 nominations we can make this year (only 150 are being used for RLMD).

There are other ways to immigrate to Canada as well, you can find information related to this on cic.gc.ca - the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Nova Scotia Office of Immigration"

*Beyond that this is the rule they had on Thursday, 20 March 2014 based on canadavisa website...

What happens to an application after the limit of 150 nominations is reached?

Applicants will be given the option of withdrawing their applications or remaining in the queue for next year.

When will applicants hear whether they have been nominated?

Applicants will receive a ‘pre-screening’ letter after their application has been assessed for completeness. Because of the large volume of applications to the program, the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration anticipates that it will take longer than three months to receive this letter.

Dear All,
can anyone please explain to me why some app get pre-screening emails

and some not ?

and what is after pre-screening ? is there will be another screening or what ?

Good morning friends

Does anyone getting file number or something?
because since last couple of days no one is getting file number
or Nomination..

Does it mean the quota is over ???
I am seriously having doubt now.

Please share your experiences.

Regards

Why we are getting Pre-Screening very slowly is because of the following reason

NSOI way of working at work time

9 to 10am - Warm-up
10 to 10:30am - Taking file for checking
10:30 to 11:30am - Breaktime
11:30 to 12:00pm - Taking file for checking
12 to 1:30pm - Lunch
1:30 to 2:30 - Warm-up
2:30 to 3:30 - Breaktime
3:30 to 4pm - Checking files
4 to 4:30pm - Arrange & clean to leave

Totally effective time is half to 1hr only

I really appreciate ur research...... :P :P :P :P :P

LoL... It becomes more frustrating when the spreadsheet is not updated for two days in a row. The gap between the receiving and opening of the application seems like ever increasing especially for us, whose application was received on Apr 07.

dude.. if your application was really received on april 7th, i think you should take a small break and chill out. no line of sight after 12 march so far. Mine was received on 18th March and I am hibernating here.. lol

Hi Everyone,

By the grace of GOD, tonight I received pre scanning email from NSNP office with File Number.

My file reached on: 12 March 2014
