I don't know why but i started to feel that shortly we might get email that we have applied for FSW2014 and will ask to withdraw our application for NSNP . if we approve to withdraw, sincere applicants will get chance to get nominated in NSNP.

I have not read it anywhere that they have finished nominating hence we need to exercise caution

Assuming anyone petition them or write an appeal and his name is suppose to be on next list of mails to be sent out. How will the IO view such an applicant.

Some good and innocent intentions may be counter productive

I would recommend to apply for FSW because people will get less chance in Federal. Or you can drop a mail and ask about your status.

PNP program can open anytime in any provinces.

i'm afraid from that too, after submitting to FSW , i would get the Pre-screeing email , then if i'm luck i would get the nomination letter, so i have to withdraw from FSW , big hassle , i'll try to make my self late in sending the FSW package ..

why not NS province publishes the number of the nominated persons on their website and update it weekly , really a simple solution but will prevent a lot of assumptions..

Afaik applications recieved by CIC are not processed same day. So by the time nsnp would have processed our application or would have already nominated 150 . in worst case they can ask you to withdraw either of them but not necessarily fsw

I found you, your application was received on April 2, the same NOC I am applying 2171,
this is really bad news to me, since I applied March 7 and no answer?

Ah ok, I misunderstand you sorry.

I don't believe NSOI are going to check if the applicant have sent other applications elsewhere, I think they don't have
the time to do this.

I have applied for RLMD,application recieved on April 10,2014. Awaiting for the update.
Waiting and watching as well praying.
This is the only chance for me since my age will never guaratee FSW approval for me.
Today and based on the forum news from you guys,i am quiet sure that my chance for nominee droped to below 50%.
From the other hand i feel that they might do assess all the recieved applications,and they might consider those who do not fit for skilled worker!!

I am in the same condition like you, I would say very good experience in my area, but too old for FSW (even getting perfect IELTS),
but I think if we cannot get this Nova Scotia boat , probably we can catch Saskatchewan on January 1 2015 or even Nova Scotia
I plan to improve my English IELTS and get ready with my Career Assessment.
