What one thing is common for those who received pre-screen email? None applied for SINP. It could be co-incidental. Only time can say.

1. plz guide me if i can apply now for nova scotia?

Please go through the Guideline completely page by page, you will get an idea about the RLMD-NSPNP.

Please visit the following link of nova scotia official website(I am not able to provide you with because am a newbie)

2. Check for your Job profile in the occupation demand list

3. The 150 cap - Let me tell you onething, you could see the speculation around about the cap being reached in most of the discussion.
Lets be optmistic, nothing too loose you are going to incur only the cost of postage(If your occupation is eligible).

4. The NS immigration office didn't stop accepting the application till date, which is indeed a great opportunity for a qualified person like you.

Regards

Just go through forum spread sheet. You can see there almost 200 applicants. I think its not even 10 percentage of total applicants

I have found two important points in Frequently Asked Questions of Nova Scotia website:

1- We will be updating the website as we progress toward meeting the 150 cap.

2-Q: Do I need to take the IELTS General test if I've already passed the IELTS Academic? A: Yes. If you are using the IELTS as proof of language, it must the IELTS General. CIC does not accept IELTS Academic when processing applications for permanent residency.

It means that they have not met enough qualified applications so far (from point#1) and also they have announced in advance for those who do not have IELTS academic that would need the IELTS GENERAL score after nomination (from point #2)...

What is your opinion guys?

Hi esi2014,

1. Its not necessarily mean that they haven't identified the qualifying applicants, Its for the convenience of the Nova Scotia Province Govt & Immigration office to select the applicants based on the required level which are existing in demands, Be optimistic and take your chances.

2. IELTS General is a must for PR applications.(Please go through the official site of Nova Scotia province).

Regards

Dear Solmon,

Thanks for the wise repsonse you have given.

Can u also tell me whether the cap has already been reached for applying or whether i can apply for NSPNP still ??

Regards,
Vam

Hi Vam37,

As I said in my previous reply, It is entirely up to you whether to file or not.It is entirely at your sole discretion, But my suggestion to you is before applying do your research on your occupation eligibility, other key points and IELTS score mentioned in NOVA SCOTIA Guidance for the applicant in the nova scotia official website. I would say be an optimist and file your application. But prepare your mindset whatsoever the outcome of the Application will be. Wish you Good Luck !

Hi dream_can_ link

For your query, the outcome is going to be challenging , There are some scenario's

s 1 - The nova scotia encourages you & family to stay permanently in their province, hence go through the official website for further clarification.

s2 - Some province do accept application like that , But would suggest you to take professional advise on that before taking a big decisions.

s3 - Why one would complicate themself, when everything going smooth and perfect !

Coolleo gave a post in this forum where he stated that he wrongly did not mentioned SINP application.
The name of Newplan2014 was found at SINP forum.

Both most probably rejected due to cap.
