Hi
I have a question NSNP, Actually I have worked as Health Educator for 10 years and performed different roles under this designation. This category is not included in NSNP its NOC code is 4165 and at the end of this category, there is a link as Classified elsewhere and under that there is 0311 Health Care Manager.
What does this mean? I mean are these categories are interlinked? A person who has worked as Health Educator is eligible to apply under Health Care Manager?

Your guidance will be highly appericiated.

I have that there is a new employee in NSIO who is called T. Shaw. During March only two employees who received application. The majority received by Anne Park and some other applications received by M. Cosman, however, I didn't notice T. Shaw in all March applications.
I have a small thought, just thought, that they are categorizing received application. I think that early applications which have been received by A. Parker and M. Cosman will be proceeded then they will start in the next category which has been received by T. Shaw. Again it is only a thought.
Thus, could we add column for receipt employee A. Parker, M. Cosman or T. Shaw. I think we can build some idea on this column.

;) It is possible if NISO cannot give timestamp on the applications and cannot track based on timestamp.

OMG :o! Our impression about NISO has gone nose dive - it is mainly we cannot comprehend why the hell they are still accepting thousands of applications.

Can we add another column for City Destination. I think they will not nominate 150 in Halifax alone.
Just a thought.

Applicants please

what did u do in the item of communication and building the network in NS?

Dear All,

Plz read the article of Nova Scotia Immigration Lawyers(Elizabeth Wozniak Inc), posted on 6th April 2014.

She put some information like:-
The province has allocated 150 of its 700 nominations in 2014 to this program. As soon as the 150 are nominated, the program will be suspended until next year.

Setting aside the issue of whether Nova Scotia should have prioritized a “no job required” immigration category over resolving more pressing issues in the program (for example), the fact is, we have this now. One month into it, here are some of our observations:

- Most of the eligibility criteria are very straightforward. It makes sense to identify a list of occupations in demand based on labour market statistics. And it also makes sense to use the regular education, financial and language criteria.

- Those criteria set the bar very low. So it is no wonder the province has been inundated with applications since March 6. Last week when we dropped off some documents at the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration, we could not help but notice the 10+ courier bins stuffed with applications sitting in the reception area. And those were just the recent deliveries. Word on the street is it has received over one thousand applications so far for those 150 nominations. And the program remains open.

It may be correct details but, NSIO is taking longer time to issue AOR. That is very bad.

so even we don't know whether they have started pre-screening or not.

Accepting more files, it is useless and meaningless because they need to nominate 150 or possible 150 for next year so total should be 300 applications.

It is true that we are restless to see a communication from NSOI but this is also true that IO will follow own process and procedures to move an application.

Evanthough, I am expecting them to extend this Quota at least upto 300 or best 500 under RLMD because of a reasonable percentage of people selected, after all its all effort to compile application, very hard to collect documents from employers, college and for some people even IELTS is also a speed breaker.

Therefore, lets wait for time and as someone said earlier, application received by might matter to process so there is no harm if we update that as well... :)
