My agent didnt discourage me to apply but he just told me the real situation. This is due to the volume of applications received. But I still have the option to apply.

Looking at nsnp faq , they only indicated that if you dont fall in 150 nominations your application will be queued for next year. I really dont get one thing, why r they wasting time and energy on processing beyond 150 applications. Why dont they process 150 applications faster( why 3 months to nominate, why not just 1 month). They can start processing other applications only after nominating 150 applicants

Property is considered as proof of fund. Irrespective of funds in ur account do submit bank statements. You can show your investments as well. But just for your info nsnp will give just 150 nominations , your application will be put unto queue for next year if u domt fall within 150 cao of this year

Thanks for the information. I've understood the same but I needed some kind of confirmation, to avoid situation when the application is rejected for a small misunderstanding.

YEs, the CAP is 150. I have most of the necesary documents, now waiting for my new passport to arrive.

Do you think that if I send the application at the end of next week will be too late ?

I will apply for the NSW Program also, in 4'th May. This, in case they don't change the program structure this year ...

Thanks once again,

Again as i said. Read the instructions very carefully

It is you only who will send the copies of marksheets transcript and degree certificates. Your uni exam contriller will just sign on wes form and put stamp on each copy. Put all copies in sealed envelope and put the university stamp on the edges of the envelope. This is to make sure that all copies are checked and stamped by university exam controller and not forged by the applicant. At the end of the day. It is you only who will send the courier not the university

I would say that NSNP doesn't have to know about your relationship.

Talking About English , I don't believe they will enforce in your case an English Test, with such Curriculum.

Talking about your settlement, again your perfectly build it without mention it, I don't think that mention that
your are going to live with a citizen in Nova Scotia will make your settlement stronger , but your clear intention to live and work at NS

If you eligible, probably more than many of us in this forum.

go ahead you don't loose anything.

best of luck

Tetunte,
Thank you for your advice. I will proceed with my application though it seems a bit late since lot of people here are talking about the 150 cap is reached already.

Hi everybody

Please do not consider my opinion as if i am discouraging anyone from applying but just my opinion.

Logically speaking, when they talk about nominating the best 150, even for pre-screening, NSNP would have a certain number of applications in mind, so to an extent i can agree to this notion from A-Cheng that applications received on or after a certain date will be lined up for next year. Doing this will enable NSNP to start the pre-screening process of applications received up to certain date.
Where is the link that states NSPNP is only giving out 150 nominations? 150 in each profession or a total of 150 in all the professions?

I would like to apply for NSNP and planning to send my application documents through DHL courier, but DHL never deliver documents to any P.O box (1741 Brunswick St., Suite 110A P.O. Box 1535 Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J 2Y3 CANADA)

Therefore, to deliver the application to “Nova Scotia Office of Immigration” they ask for the CONTACT persons name OR designated delivery desk that can receive the documents and acknowledge the receipt with seal and sign.

Anybody. any suggestion ?
