1. Yes there is a cap, but again if your profile is the "right one" according to NSNP your could be nominated even you apply later.
2. If your documents are not in English or French, you must translate all your documents
3. Yes and during all the process, until your permanent residence is granted.
Thanks for your super fast answer.
regarding your answer for second question, I am asking university transcript..Actually, I have all documents in English...but I am just wondering whether to send only final degree certificate or transcript which indicate all semesters mark.
How much time generally need for whole PR process?

Thanks,

CAPS/LIMITS/DEADLINE
The Nova Scotia government has announced no deadline for applying under the NSNP but the government has stated that the program criteria may change without notice and your application will be assessed according to the criteria in place at the time your application is received by the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration. The government has not announced the total number of applications that it is willing to consider under the Regional Labour Market Demand Stream.

The provincial processing time for completed applications eligible for consideration can take up to one month or more depending on the volume of applications received and the time required for verifications of documents included in the application. Nomination is not assured and is at the sole discretion of the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.

this is the reply that i have got from ATTORNEY DAVID COHEN......so it's looking like there is no cap announced till now by the NOVA SCOTIA GOVERNMENT

Howmuch time required for total PR process?
And is there any obligation to stay NS? Can I move to another province if I don't get my field job within 3-4 month of arrival?

This process is divided in 2 steps

The first one is apply to Nomination Province, its official site says that could it be at least 3 months.
the second one is applying to CIC, In my case Mexico they need at least 12 months to give you an Permanent Residence

you need to check your visa office, to find out your processing time.

Hi,

If you've been nominated( processing for nomination takes more than ~3-6 months depending on amount of application to processed) but it looks like NSNP received considerable amount of applications per day. As far as I know they will choose right applicants for this stream (qualifications, credentials, experiences, relatives/friends in NS who can support your settlement plans etc.
If you were selected, they will communicate with you through email about your application, then they will forward your application to the Canadian Consulate in your home country. Some of my friends submitted their applications in CIO-Sydney NS(the CIC for PNP application in Canada) I am not sure if they're the one who will process your application since as far as I know theyre for In-Canada applicants.

It can take up to 15-18 months depending in your Visa Office. Soo to all applicants..Goodluck

P.S. You will sign an agreement about your Settlement once you will get your PR here that you will stay in the Province for atleast 2 yrs. and after that, you have the freedom to go to another province if you can't find a job in Nova Scotia.

I am currently living in NS...and been here for 3 yrs. I am a Nurse too.

Yes, a lawyer that I asked, told me that no one can stop you to move to another province, but this is going to have a negative impact in the future when you apply to be a citizen.

You need to justify why your decision (no jobs, no education in your area of interest, etc)

Read my post above. you have to sign a document when you arrive in the province if you have been nominated . You have to report to the Settlement Office and it is mandatory if you are in NSNP stream. (Previously nominated experience)It stated there that you have to stay in NS. It might affect your Citizenship Application/PR card Renewal if you didn't follow the Settlement Agreement that you signed.

I am an Electronics Engineer and I plan to apply in this stream...

Before applying, do Engineers need to get registration or licensing from "Engineers Nova Scotia" or at least get some letter of eligibility to get a license in the future?

you have very high chance of getting nominated, since you have Canadian experience. please hurry up and apply ASAP.
If you have 10 years of work experience, dont apply via PNP, go via CEC as its more easy

Only 49 persons are in this sheet so far? How many do you folks think is the real number? I know of no more than 5 Chinese applicants who have posted but they are not active in this forum.
