Hi,

Let me ask one thing, if i have send additional documents later (which i have missed in package).Would they consider it and get it added to the package that i have sent earlier.

yes please send them, before they decide to mark your application incomplete and return to you.

please quote your passport number on your envelope so that they can link your earlier submissions with new one.

I am using an agent to fix my papers..Is it better if i will just file it myself for faster processing? Is anyone here had a past experience using an agent?

hiring an agent is not recommended for this program, it is fairly simple.

if you follow each and every post of this thread, 95% of queries will be resolved. if possible ask you agent to return your money, you can file it urself instead of wasting time with them.

members,

Those who have entered their details in form , if you got email with edit your response link , please use that link to update your details.

I don't find any other way other than this, will update if there is any other way to do it.

I do not know if you sent your application, if not for this money be sure that your agent build a very strong settlement plan, because along with all the rest of the documents I consider is the most important thing in your application, remember people in Nova Scotia are going to take closer look at this settlement to choose the right people according to them for the province.

so make your money works for you.

best luck friend.

If you already signed contract with them then better comply with their requirements and let them help you in filling up the forms. Ask them their requirements for this program NOW! So you can rush completing your documents according to their checklist. Just like what I wrote in this thread before, they are asking more than what you see in the website.

1. I don't have my birth certificate. I applied to the local office to get a copy but they couldn't find my birth record. they gave me paper in which they mentioned Birth Record Not Found. what should I do about it?

2. I went to the west part of Africa and lived in one country more than 6 months on visitors visa.. do I need to provide any additional document for that except the photocopies of passport ?

3. do I need to show 3 months old funds or its ok if I deposit now ?

thanks all for the help

Yes,that's true.. they were asking me some docs that arent on the website.. they told me that they will use it as added proof.. from what country are you?

They will check your documents and they will require you to submit to them the supporting documents according to their checklist. They will organize your documents and if complete send them to NS.

For the concern that what if you have submitted to NS the application but lacks the supporting documents the NS requires as per their guidelines, it may cause outright denial. Why? Due to the volume of applications they received and the program is not first come first serve, they may not waste effort to read your documents if for the first compliance check your application lacks supporting documents you are TOLD to submit. This method of elimination is usually applied if the intention is to get the best of the best according to their criteria. I hope I make sense. You may correct me if I am wrong.

what is your NOC?
