Does everybody have any idea about this issue?
which link can be appropriate for apply?
http://novascotiaimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/In-Demand-List-of-Occupations.pdf
or
http://www.itc-canada.com/News/Nova_Scotia_Regional_Labour_Market_Demand_Stream.htm

I would go with the first one as that is from the official NS site

Will definitely follow this thread. ;D

Additional queries:
I and my husband are registered nurses in the Philippines can we undergo this program at the same time?

If so, how much would be the proof of funding needed for this.

Thanks in advance.

Read the program intensively. Regional labour demand stream ng nova scotia. Extend your reading with cic's instructions. To answer no less than 12,800cad for two persons

Do we need to write anything at the back of photograph?

I have written my name, dob and if you are primary applicant write, Principle Applicant.

If CIC approves our visa , after landing will they support us in finding job or home or else we ourself have to arrange it.

Another quest. i m married but intially i dont take my spouce with me so that i can settle down & after few months i call her. Do i have to apply as single or as a with my spouce.

Hi, I have been back reading this thread but I cannot seem to find an answer. My occupation is restaurant and food service manager (noc 0631), am I eligible for this stream, also my husband is currently working in Grande Prairie as a (tfw)food service supervisor. I am not sure but, I am not eligible for this stream, right? Thank you to those who can answer.

If you are not using a lawyer to help you with your application, the answer to the 1) is yes.
but take notice that all the federal forms must be filled up for you as the Appendix-1 shows.

Dear Tetunte

Thanks for Res.

So u wana say I have to fill all the forms given under Appendix-1 even given under heading of CIC Forms?

In App. Guidance-2014 under Appendix-1 they have three headings
1) CIC Forms
2) NSNP Forms
3) Supporting Documents.

Do I need to submit all this 1-3 stuff?

Waiting

I am quite sure nothing was written in the guide, CIC has very strict guidlines for photographs but NSNP does not have any guidelines.

Though writing on back of photographs is ok, but they can refer your passport and find out who is primary applicant and who is dependent.

Hi All,

Did anyone provide PCC for NS nomination?
my consultant is requesting me to do that

Thanks

PCC is required for applicant and dependents only if you or they have any criminal record

Thanks for your reply Can2174
I have approached a consultancy in India to process my NSNP.
They are saying that this is a new change to the process and require me to provide PCC in all the places/countries I stayed
I heard from India it takes 1-2 weeks which is fine, But I also stayed in USA
that would complicate it further, the last time I heard it takes 3-4 weeks
I was just wondering if anyone else is doing this
Thanks

And one more question
How are you guys dealing with Referral letters?
I have worked with 3 companies from the last five years
1 in USA (2years)
2 in India(3 years)
I can get the referral letter just fine from US company
But I have problem when dealing with Indian MNC's, I requested my previous company in India and they declined saying they cannot provide details of my work. I haven't approached my current company but I have a gut feeling that the reply would be the same.
I think this is the same problem with most of the MNC's particularly IT companies, How are you guys dealing with it?

for god sake don't get into consultants, most of them are fake. Check if they are recognized by Govt.
Also you may go through guide line pdf at rlmd page..

It is mentioned that PCC is required only if there is criminal record. But remember once u reach CIC stage, PCC is required from all the countries where u stayed for more than 6 months.

also If u get PCC now, its valid for 6 months only , if that is expired you wont be able to submit it to CIC.

Reference letters are not required at NSNP stage, but that will be required at CIC stage.

if company denies it to provide letter, ask them to give you in writing that they can't provide such letter. You may do an affidavit and get it signed by your past co-worker. But try to get at least 1-2 reference letters from other employers.
