hi everybody , how long do u think last the whole process???

you can find this in the application guide

"The processing time for completed applications eligible for consideration can
take up to one month or more depending on the volume of applications received and the time required for verifications of documents included in the application.
Nomination under the NSNP is at the sole discretion of the NovaScotia Office of Immigration."

This url, could give us an update information about the number of nominated

Thanks much Tetunte for giving us an optimistic insight into things that the province has planned. Hopefully we are one among the 5000 immigrants

I hope this too, however under the province nominee the article stated

"In November, the federal government allowed Nova Scotia to bring in an additional 200 families under the provincial nominee program. That's 700 instead of only 500 for 2012."

So this 2014, probably the number could it be closely to 700

You can apply under 2283. But my guess is CIC would be concentrating more on PNPs this year and try and test the EOI system before they implement it in 2015. Hence I would suggest whatever province opens up, just go ahead and apply as I dont think FSW 2014 will open up. But this is purely my view and I dont have any valid source for the same

Yes,I understand they may not open this year.

But if they,do i stand chance to apply in 2174 under in parallel?

Also the nsnp form 100, ask you to explain if you have an open case with other province and what is the status in this province, if someone try to hide an open application, I suppose that they share information each other and eventually they could catch you and avoid your application or if you explain that you have an open application in another province, well maybe you could be rejected because you do not have a genuine intention to live in Nova Scotia.

I believe is risky to apply to several provinces at the same time

but for example if some one have opened file with Quebec but it's under skilled worker not Provincial Nominee Program

No i dont think parallel applications will be accepted as you have to report in either places

No ! It will not work

but i only have the first file number i think they mean csq number or the second file number before interview

So when you apply to NSNP, they are asking for a previous file number and the status for the same which you have to give

Now I cant tell you what will NSNP do to your application if you say that your other application is ''UNDER PROCESS''
