Hi,
it's not mandatory but it shows you have a higher chance to get nominated! it's under employment and settlement issues..
I thought it opposite according to the guide
When Not to Apply
...
"a grand-parent, parent, spouse, common-law or conjugal partner of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada, an applicant under humanitarian and compassionate grounds, a refugee claimant or a failed refugee claimant"
Could you precise with NS Office whether such a ties are advantage or vice versa?

It's the immediate family member(parents, grandparents, spouse),since they have the chance to get sponsored. If you have relatives, friends...Yes you can definitely and it makes you a strong candidate for the program.

It's just you have higher chance to get settled and living permanently in the Province because you have people that you know in the area already.

When you are applying for the nomination to NS ,do we have to pay the processing fee off 550 per person for the cic with the application ... Or after if we get the nomination ...

After you get nominated, you have to file for Permanent Residency in CIC. That's the time you will pay for the RPRF and it costs 550 for the single Applicant.

New FSW will be available in May 2014. If you think you have the credentials, experience and also funds to apply. You have to grab the opportunity since they have caps for the job in each NOC Code...

It will re-open in May 2014 after the caps for 2013 has been reached. They will give further notice...
