I told yesterday with NSOI.
The lady said that they are processing the files that received at 14,17, 18 of March.
They have issued 60 Nominations already.

But in our spread sheet we see no news!

While I made the conscious decision NOT to apply via the FSW program, I decided to take a peak into the FSW2014 forum just for the sake of it. That program opened in May and people are at the stage of RPRF fee requested (medicals done). Appears to be a faster route and can still settle in NS.

On the flip side, NSIO charged $0 for the applications so maybe overall, there is balance in pros and cons

Anyway, there is no "pressing" or pressuring other forumers that is happening here.

It was just a simple question asked in a right manner that is relevant to everyone's interest here in the forum which only required a very simple answer (Yes or No) or just say that you don't want to disclose that information and thats it end of inquiry.

No need to tell lies as this could result to misleading information and may affect the credibility of this forum and its users.

Can you please elaborate? Why do we need to sell the house which we have bought in our Country of birth? Is it a mandate that if I go thru the NSNP route I will have to sell all assets in my name (House, car, etc) in India? Also, how do I substantiate the current market value? When I bought my flat it was CAD 107000 and now it is valued around CAD 145000. But that is an estimated value only. How do I substantiate it?

You don't need to sell your house. You can get your real estate properties evaluated by government approved property evaluators( civil engineers in most cases) and obtain certificate from them indicating contemporary value of your property. They will calculate and decide value on the basis of area, construction and tax of the property as well as locality of the property. The certificate is enough. as for car and other things, you can decide value yourself or get it done by CA, and don't forget to include papers supporting your claim.
