Its strange that I can never get past 1-888-242-2100 number. It rings and the call gets disconnected. I don't even get
a chance to press any number. I tried many times.
I was able to talk with a lady on that other 613 number. She said she cannot help with immigration related questions
and that there is no number where people from outside Canada can call CIC. She said only way is to email them at
question @ cic.gc.ca and wait for the reply.

This number is for Inside Canada callers

Sunnytheshine. Thanks for sharing BUT i may be a little slow here. CIC says, "you can go with both" and "withdraw one" ? sounds contradictory to me

They said both the applications are different from each other. Its the choice of the applicant which application he wants to go with. He/She can withdraw his application any time he want's but if u withdraw ur application before processing u will get ur fee back else if we start processing it fee will not be refunded.

This is what they told me yesterday

i got presreaning email on 10 july.if my application is sucessful how much time they will take to issue nomination ???in the email they have written upto three month ??? plz advice seniors .

Hello Friends

I am in touch with NSIO since last 3 to 4 weeks and they say that they are currently working on 17 or 18 march
and have issued 50 nominations approximately....

So my question is that what are the chances that they will move further??
Because i think they will issue nominations to those to whom they have issued file numbers otherwise they must
move ahead and we could heard some different answer other than 17 or 18 march...

pls share your thoughts friends

Regards

Hi,

When exactly did you receive the information?

How they said you 17,18 of March?

I told several times with NSOI. But they said just middle of March.

Going by the timeline in the spreadsheet of people that have been nominated in this forum , in the best case scenario, it could range from 3 - 5 weeks. For some it is taking longer. My guess is...if you have a high chance of being nominated, you should get the nomination no more than 6 weeks after FN. This is my projection from the data we have in this forum. I got my FN July 10th too. If by the end of August, I've yet to get a nomination, I would start investing in my plan B. Good thing is...NS has cost me $0 so far

Hi,

Is ther any way to track the status of NSNP application?

No, you can just call NSOI, but the answers are usually the same.
