you dont have to eca rite now. If required you will be requested by the authorities to provide the eca.

As stated in the application guide,

Further Information on Education:
The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration reserves the right to request that you have your education assessed by a third party, such as the World Education Service (WES) or the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS). You will be notified by a nominee officer if such an assessment is required.

thanks for your reply friends. I already have WES accessed credentials, as the same was used in FSW but returned back due to cap reached.

i myself applied ontario pnp under master stream. and i worked for a immigration company as clerk, those case number i received yesterday are for company clients. i submitted three cases, but only got i case number. the client doesnot have job offer, i wrote the settlement plan and so on for her. her case was received on March 6,2014. her title is infomation analyst and consultant.

but when the officer called us to request photo(because we missed the photo when we submitted is at first),i asked him that is this a good sign? he said it is just neautral ,no positive nor negative.

actually i am not sure if the case number is the same as file number ... the letter says "this is to confirm that your application has reached the assessment stage....."

Hello Everyone,

How do we know that the occupation is regulated or non-regulated in Canada? For example, Network Analyst or Computer service technician.

We are trying to fill up the settlement plan.

Thanks a lot for the help! :)

Check this link.Hope this helps. :D

This is positive news, for your (or client's) application to be assessed it most have been deemed complete. A complete application is a first major step/ huddle. Mine was received on March 13th so hopefully we start hearing more good news from furumers who submitted that first week - March 6th

So at last pre screened started

Two interesting points

1 they are still accepting applications
2 photos was not considered incomplete application got a case number

Only wait and pray

My thinking is...Nova Scotia will not prioritize sending out AOR. Their priority will be to inform those with complete application and are deemed worthy of being accessed haven met all the initial qualifications too. In this instance, you go past AOR and have a file number to track your assesment or add documents if need be. You proof od delivery by DHL or whoever is your AOR ..maybe

@Edithl

Please share some more details. Now that we know "Pre-screening" has started, it makes us even more impatient. ::)

This is good news. This means that processing has started. Could you share the email address which sent you confirmation email. When did u got such email and little bit more about your client like experience, details of settlement and IELTS band if any.
