As per CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
Number of
Family Members Funds Required
(in Canadian dollars)
1 $11,824
2 $14,720
3 $18,097
4 $21,971
5 $24,920
6 $28,105
7 or more $31,291
You do not have to show that you have these funds if:

you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

becoz $1050 is too much right now for me???

Once you get nomination then after you would have to apply for CIC that times you need to pay amount. Meanwhile, relax and enjoy.

SETTLEMENT PLAN is ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE APPLICATION... :(

I spent 2 weeks preparing my settlement plan, for me it's the most important thing

I highly doubt this, Assuming all of the documents are complete. I believe they would categorize all the applications into a pool and order them up. Now the tricky part is about the employment and settlement plan. Our HR consultant (for employment) and our immigration consultant told us that NS would be glad if you made actual connections in NS for filling up the Appendix 3. When I say actual connections, a written note of acknowledgement from the company you would want to apply, stating that your Profession is indeed available in Nova Scotia. For the settlement plan if you have a family coming with you, a letter from a landlord (much better if you know this person) would be necessary in order to secure initial accommodation when you come in NS. These for me will clearly demonstrate not only your readiness but it will show your true intent in migrating to NS.

That is important for settlement plan, i received some letters from landlords, schools, health care, transportation, and employers

You send your application in and you suddenly think it's going to close very soon..hmmm

From this document

http://immigration.novascotia.ca/sites/default/files/NomineeProgramEvaluationReport.pdf

the following information

"NSNP Processing
The process for making nominations under the NSNP includes several checks and balances. When an
application arrives, it is pre-screened to ensure that all mandatory documents have been provided.
The application is then reviewed by an NSNP officer against the criteria according to the stream under
which the applicant has applied. The recommended decision is checked by the Senior Nominee
Officer and reviewed by the Director. Officers also follow an Operational Procedures Manual to guide
their reviews. Average processing time from receipt of the application to a decision is under two months. "

Next Monday will mark 1 month + 1 day from when the program opened. - Per the percentage of applications that get a response between 1 -2 months, I expect AORs or some sort of contact from the immigration office within the next 30 days.
