it was happen same thing with me too so dont worry . in my case my mom"s date of birth was wrong on first medical form so we sent them email abt them but we didnt get any reply so we did medical but date of birth was wrong ( medical was on apr 2016) now in may 2016 they email us few test for my mom so we pass from second medical test in july 2016 for only my mom now before two weeks we got email for my mom medical with right birth date so we email to cic that if there is something wrong in medical then we domt mind to do medical but just becoz the date of birth mistake we cant do medical again so whithin a week we got there email that we dont have to do remedical they will merge old medical to right date of birth.now i hope we will get some good news soon

I am so amazed when i got to know that my mom have to go through more tests because originally my parents got the appointment on November 07 and when i requested them they said they can come on October 26,2016 . Now they got a call to come on November 07 for more tests for my mom. i don't know if its a coincidence or something else....

We had the same situation.

My Parent got 1st medical request from Ottawa in May 2016. In june, they asked us to get additional test done for my mom. In August , we got third request for more test for my mom. Just 2 weeks back, the status showed medical passed and last week we got passport request.

They just want to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.

Military table is form they sent which ask for the service history, with dates where posted, rank at that time, combat missions and commanding officer name and details.

we got appointment for medical test on nov 11 now .Doctor also ask for email id .In my case all my email goes to my agent ,he is the one who told me if anything comes in .can i give them the same email .why doctor need email id ? if i gave my email id than ,all further email come to me ?

u can email them about wrong email id and contact number and also post them a letter about that it was happen for my mom birthdate instead of 23 they did 13 so we just sent them email and post letter so after 4 months they correct all the things.

So here's my situation. My husband and I applied to sponsor my parents and my brother (dependent) and my husband's parents in June 2011. The family size is a total of 8.
We got approved as sponsors for both applications in 2015 which was great however, recently in October 2016 along with medical and police clearance requests they requested our 2015 Notices of Assessment and letter of employment but ONLY for my parents application. They didn't request income documents from us for my husband's parents. For my husband's dad, they requested fingerprints also.

The problem is that in 2013 I stopped working and became a homemaker when my son was born. So although my husband's income has increased and he's a cosigner on my parents application, if they use the current 2015 Federal income table (LICO +30%) then we will not meet the income requirements.
Question to anyone going through this is: Will they use the new 2015/2014 LICO+30% or just LICO to see if we qualify? Before I send the new documents, should I write a cover letter asking them to consider based on just LICO? Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

Hi,

if you applied in 2011, meeting only LICO is sufficient. But LICO also increases every year. That means the income from notice of assessment of 2015 should be higher or equal to LICO of year 2015 for 8 people.

Someone else please correct me, if I'm wrong.
