Just want to share information that after 68 days finally i got first ever GCMS notes. Notes pulled date is 5th-Aug-2016. Everything has been clean, eligible and passed. All notes clearly say all positive and satisfaction from evaluation officers. i.e. medical, criminality, RCMP, PCC, other required documents, fee paid etc. etc. since 3rd-Aug-2016.

Location of the file shows PA - Put Away

Looks like every thing is ready for PPR request but some reason they are not processing further Parents sponsorship application for now. It has been two month since last notes were added for completeness of the file.

Just to update, my parents passport has been dispatched from visa office ND to VFS and can be picked up soon.

Just got my parents passport back. Planning to land at Coutts border on coming Friday.

Here are complete timelines:
Applied for sponsorship (family - PGP) - October 25, 2011
Sponsorship approved - July 28, 2015 (File transferred to CPC -Ottawa)
Medical and PCC request - June 8, 2016
Submitted PCC - July 12, 2016
RPRF request - August 30, 2016
PPR - September 13, 2016
Passports received by Ottawa - September 16, 2016
Application Closed and Approved - September 29, 2016
Tracker activated - October 5, 2015 (Showed in Calgary already when it got activated)
Passport Received - October 5, 2016

My parent medicals were received in June and since then no correspondence from the Delhi Visa office.

Just wondering if anyone in this forum has tried contacting the Delhi visa office via Email or phone to get an update?

Really hoping that they start processing all of the pending applications with them.

I contacted cic Ottawa office by email and got response in about 3 days. you have to quote your application number in the email subject line otherwise they wont reply you.

it has been three months my Parents Sponsorship application approved by CPC-M (i.e. on 7th July 2016 and it was transferred to Ottawa)

as of today i did not receive any email or letter requesting for Medical and PCC

i was looking at my eCAS of there was any info about my parents PR on the Principal Applicant section (i.e my parents portion) it says we started processing you PR application on 7th Sep 2016, (almost two months after the sponsorship application) i haven't heard anything for Ottawa since Sep 7

Just update on my file. Our medical started showing passed today. We got a request on Jun 22 for PCC and medical.

when should we expect visa based on forum members experience.

It will be with in 1 year from your medical. Like in my case it is valid until June 2017 as we have done medical in June 2016.

It has been three months since then and i haven't received any communication from CPC-Ottawa about their REquest for Medical of PCC

can someone suggest what can be done to know the status of my Parents PR Application.

I have sent an email to CPC-Ottawa (i.e. CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) along with my Parents Names, DB, File and UCI number and category information about three to four weeks ago, no update yet.

I have signed up for GCKey and not much information was available there either, it says the file is In-process since Sep 2016

u can apply for GMCS notes also if worried the time taken in ottawa office is out of normal

Just wait. No need to order GMCS notes. Ordering GMCS notes only when the processing time is out of normal boundaries, or your sponsorship is still in process at this point.
In your case, the file is transferred to Ottawa and everything should be moving forward when time comes.

GCMS notes cannot help you present a case to CIC at this point, nor speed up your applications. So the best way is to relax and wait.

I'm sure your parent PR application will be moving forward soon.

in the past i have used UCI number, my last name and date of birth (i.e. sponsor's last name and date of birth)

on the same token when i am applying for GCMS notes i should be using

a. UCI / File number (which is same for Sponsor and Principal Applicant)
b. Last name of my Father and me is same
c. Date of birth of my Father
d. use my father's email address that was on the file

is that correct?

My status is still referred for secondary review since April 2016 (6 months )- no update since 6 months
Also says r10 requirements met. Po to review request as a possible Dokaj case. case referred to special unit/Service Delivery Specialist for LICO.
R.11 based on temporary processing office CPC ottawa..

anyone else having same situation and passed the secondary review?How much time it took?
