On 10th May we got a mail from london visa office asking for our passport copies . I searched on the forum and it may be called a Ppr1 but this is something new because nowadays people directly get ppr2 request ? Kindly please tell us what it means by your experience or anyone going thorough the same boat ? or has experienced this ? I'll be very helpful

Hi kcdasoju,

BP and Diabetes are not considered medical rejection problems. They look for infectious diseases, HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, TB and other problems like these. Normal age related medical problems are not considered. You should not worry. Your parents should not have problems passing the medical test.

please any one knows how to do it? I have to take appointment for sample?

I know you are waiting for long time. I wonder why they are asking DNA test at this stage, they should have asked before. Do you know reason of delay ?

From this forum, these people did DNA test in past : prince nijjar, Apply 2010 ,Lisa89, rajji53. You can try PM them, may be they help you.

Hi Guys,

I have applied for my Parents sponsorship in June 2010 to Ottawa office. Submitted 2nd stage docs in march 2015. On line application status shows "started process on August 2015" . CIC also sent me a Cheque of $60. Nothing is mentioned with it. Does any one has any idea what it is?

One of my parent was passed away in 2014. Now the sponsorship is only for my mother

-Does anybody has an idea why it is taking so long?
-What i can do? Should i send a reminder to ask CIC to expedite the process?
-Or i should keep on waiting? is that normal time?

I have no idea why r they asking now. My mother medical will expire in June . I have sent my birth certificate too. It's another headache now I have to give sample here and my mother have to travel to India from Afg. The email I received says she has to give sample in New Delhi

Dont panic ... It is process ... It will do little delay to your case i also go through from dna.... Message me inbox . Have uh aby dependebt in file .. How many person uh apply . Dont woory about meficals it will expired for sure once bassy gets dna result .. Means everything ook in dna result match they ask to redo medicals for visa .... Meficals are not big issue . Dna is main thing . Now your mother get call from embassy with in 2-3 months average tym may be earlier its your luck ... After taking mother dna with in month you get visa for sure.

This dna change my whole life .... Bcoz last year if embassy did not ask for dna i will be now in canada .. My frnds get visa last july ... Bcoz of my dna i have to wait .... .. In oct we got visa .. Congrats. My Ecas was also updated on a Sunday to decision made.

Hi, There i was out of touch from a long time to be honest was disappointed. BUT ALLAH HELPED US AND he is helping further. we had our medical on april 16 2015 and a week ago they asked for our fresh passport copies and stated to send it soon as possible as our medical will expire our visa office is London and we filed our case 2010 march . Someone said its ppr one? what does that mean? is it a good sign and will they finalize before our medical expiry date?
