did you see a due date on your gcms notes. some people say that is the date they will relook at your file. do you have a due date mentioned on your notes

Guys We emailed London visa office yesterday and we got a reply from them very quickly within 24 hours we got a reply in which they are asking additional prove of my FATHER who has been married twice after my mother ( as in Pakistan its ok to marry 4 times) London visa office have asked us to Prove if MY FATHER AND MOTHER will live happily in Canada or not. If we will be unable to provide them prove they may refuse our application. We are comfused pPLEASE suggest what prove can we give. It has beeen such a long journey for us and now at the end we are stuck. Hating this all please suggest guys although we have already sent nikkah kama in additional docs before which we thought was a valid prove now our visa officer is saying he is doubtful if my parents will live together in canada happily. And in other condition they are asking if my father has divorced the other two wives and this is not the case. So in this critical condition please suggest some proves as this is the LAST and final stage of our journey

Is there an average time for PPR frm Ottawa office??

I was checking the 'spreadsheet' and time is all over the place.

Some people got PPR in 2-3 weeks and for others it took months.

Is there any standard timeline for PPR from Ottawa???

It varies from case to case if the decision is made on your application send them email asking for status update most probably they will respond back with ppr

Hi Friends,

This forum is very helpful and its really good to see the updates from everyone who is in the same page. Could anyone please advise me what do all mean by the notes and what is the process of getting them from CIC.

I have applied in 2010 Sep and got the approval email early Nov 2015 and the email stated that my parents' file has been moved to Colombo visa office. They also indicated in the email to complete the upfront medical. However the cic website says its is about 72 months processing time in Colombo. I am really wondering why they are asking us to do the upfront medical now if the medical is valid only for a year.

Also please tell me when did you submit your police clearance.

Please I am eagerly waiting for your reply.

Question..After the sponsorship approved, Now we received a general letter requiring
1-Medical exam, --to be done
2-Updated Schedule A --5669E form declare your personal history from the age of 18 (not only the past 10 years).-submitted last time, we could put more info.
3-Right of Permanent Residence Fee
4-Updated Original police certificates --we submitted in Oct 2014, Do we need another one? How update is the police supposed to be?

Can anyone help with item 4 --whether we need to conduct a police certificates again?

Yes you need to re-submit all of these even though you submitted before.

Thank you for responding to my enquiry. I really appreciate it. I am guessing AOR means approval letter?
Again My time line:
Sep 2010 applied
Aug 2014 requested documents
Jan 2015 requested additional documents
Nov 2015 Email received indicating that we are eligible as a sponsor and my parents' file was transferred to Colombo visa office. In the approval email they also asked us to complete the upfront medical.
I checked the online status, it still says application received for both sponsor and PR application.
