Thanks to our this forum family for all the suggestions and support. We got our PPR on Aug 24 rth and we have sent our PP to The Canadian Embassy. We hope to have the visas soon. I felt very helpful the the community here and I wish every body a Good Luck with their applications.

When did you send them the upfront medical report?

Finally some progress this morning...

Now ECAS status has changed from single line to two:


1- We received <NAME> application for permanent residence on December 23, 2010.
2- We started processing <NAME> application on July 29, 2015.

Already done with the upfront medicals.
Let's see how much further time.

I checked online status and Ecas has been changed to Decision Made on August 21, 2015.
but i did not get any email/letter, wondering if it is normal.

Hello all,

Just an update on our application.

Aug 5 - Passport photocopies request received via e-mail (had gotten tired of checking e-Cas constantly, so I don't know when it may have been updated to Decision Made)

Aug 19 - Passport copies mailed to Ottawa (tracking information shows they were delivered in Ottawa on Aug 24)

Aug 25 - CPR issued

Aug 26 - CPR mailed in one of my XpressPost pre-paid envelopes. I signed up for updates on the CanadaPost website, so I received notification as soon as it was mailed

Aug 28 - CPR received!!

Celebrating right now!!!!! Good luck to everybody!!!

please update my status on google sheet...

received email from delhi visa office requesting im0008 and schedule A with medical and pcc without any approval letter from Mississauga, I was surprised coz I was waiting for approval since last one year since I submitted docx.

and then I called cic today morning they said ur application was approved on aug-20-2015, n call center said I don't know how they missed to send u a approval letter but I m requesting them now so ull get in few days..

but one side within 10 days of approval I got im0008,schedule A with medical and pcc ... surprised..

is this called upfront medical or not coz I got updated IM008 request too? is anyone has experience like this...

Yes, it seems to be that only photocopies are required for visa-exempt countries.

Ecas changed to double lines
1-application rcvd July 5, 2010
2-started working on application July 27, 2015

My mom had to get an additional medical test done on Aug 8th. Any ideas or guesses as to what should I expect to happen now and when?

Yes this is normal. I had to fill out the same papers that I had filled out back in sept 2014. The only difference for medical for me was we were emailed separate medical forms(MM 1017E) to take to the doctor with us. Anyway good luck this is definitely a step forward

Has anyone of you had experience with "secondary review due to increased family size"?
Do you know how long it takes?
I haven't heard anything from the CIC so far. Only found in the GMCS notes that it's referred to secondary review.
Still waiting....

For me they request medical, pcc n some other docx in email but no medical institutions or forms attached.. I should receive in few days as per other forum members..

They give me 60 days time period to mail everything at Local visa office ..

What was ur time period between approval email/later n medical request??
Ur was also separate email for medical forms??

I check today Ecas and mailing address is missing. three or four week ago, I changed my mailing address. now my mailing add and residential add are same, so is that the reason it is showing only residential add or should I call cic to inform this or is this is normal. anybody advise plz. Thanks

April 28 got email from cic for SA
May 15 got email from ndvo AOR
June 8'got request for additional forms including medical and pcc..

how can I check that cic receive the request for GCMS notes, I sent mail on 12th Aug, I check my account, that check is cash on 28th of Aug. my Q is from 28th of Aug, I should calculate 30 days period to fulfill my request or when they actually receive it at their office. someone answer plz. Thanks
