Your sister is type A dependent. If you have declared her to be type B then this is a mistake. You might face problems because as type B you need to show continuous education in case there is a break in her studies. Speak to your accountant and correct the mistake before the form is sent. You are responsible for the information on forms submitted not the agent. Try to correct the error.

Yes lakha. It should be Type A as previously noted by soonihope. Since your sister was 20 yrs old (type A) at the time of sponsorship application, it should still be "Type A" today as you fill out the generic form imm0008 since her age was locked in at 20 regardless she's now 25. Make sure you keep your sister unmarried nor in common law relationship. Also, make sure your accountant knows that.

By the way, are you re sending the generic form immm0008? Just curious why?

Some please help me!!

I checked my ecas today morning, and it says decision made for premanant res. I havn't even got a passport request yet. I did not receieve any email.

On July 14, they requested additional docs and they recieved those docs back in Ottawa on Aug 13. Now I see decision made and there is no email sent to me requestiong passports. I am very confused and scared.

Would i be able to inquire about the file if i'm the co-signer for my husband's parents?

thanks for reply, yes I am sending all these documents like pcc, sister's educational certificate , generic forms, schedule A background forms etc, because I got e-mail yesterday from new delhi visa office to send it along with 1017E medical request. my parents front medical done two months ago as you know but Ecas not update and now I receive that e-mail. I am also surprised that why they asking the medical again. I consult my panel physician, she said your parents don't need to go through medical examination again, she said just send medical information sheet along with this letter. so I am doing this. on the other hand, its good to know that they pick up my file, hoping for next steps soon. once again thanks

my accountant gave me form which I need to send Delhi visa office. on dependant form he fill out as type B dependant. so my Q is my sister is 20year old, when I filled out the application first time, I am confused is it should be type A or type B. if I send it as it is, then is there any chance that the visa office refuse to give visa my sister because she got a compartment and then reverse in B.A 2nd year, now she is in B.A final , but she is a regular student. is there any chance to refuse for her. I am worried. please someone answer me please. Thanks

I was 16 years old at the time of application and now I am 21 years old
I have same situation like your dependent .. but I am not regular student now

If I remember it right, the imm0008 is to be validated online. So I suggest you need to redo the form again with all correct info. If you need to explain anything for any reason and no space is provided in the form, just add an appendix to the application. That's what we did for my dad's application.

Just to reiterate soonihope's advise, you are responsible to the info you submit including the details in all the forms. Double check everything even when advised by your accountant. Make sure everything is correct and complete so no reason for resubmitting in the future.
