Medical was done on 20th may 2015 at London till date neither penal physician called for additional test nor CIC showing any ref of medical done and it only shows in process(we have started processing of your application from 11th may,2015 this is date of medical.
Our anxiety is increasing day by day so you all senior members of forum including sooniope ji will throw some light as to whether we should contact penal physician to enquire about additional test or should wait and watch. please guide

Hi Notley. I understand how you feel but try not to be too anxious since all we can do is patiently wait. I am not too familiar with your case but if the panel doctor did not ask for anymore test then try to give it about 2 more weeks and maybe they will update your ecas to 'medicals received'. In my case, my 80 year old dad, did some more tests and also had to come back a few times. When the panel doctor needs something, they called us, so i'm guessing if they did not contact you, there maybe no more tests needed. I don't see anything wrong if you will call and check the panel doctor if anymore tests needed for your dad, or even ask when did they submit the results to CIC for your peace of mind (at least from our experience, they were accommodating to let us know if they submitted it already, but different panel doctors may answer differently).

Hi Notley as mentioned in the previous post just sit tight. The panel doctor will only contact you if further investigation is required. No contact from the doctor means that they have all the required tests and information needed. This information will be sent to CIC where they will check the results. Sometimes the panel doctors are a bit slow sending the test results to CIC but you don't need to do anything more.

Just wait to hear from CIC hopefully with PPR but this step can also take a few months.

I checked today cic website shows that we are started your file in processing from 28 may 2015 what does that means how long we will got medical request. Our LVO is singapore.anyone can touch me what happenings. Thanks.

His parents don't have email , yet cic is good enough to send this request together with other document request like orig PC (nbi from Phils) & BC thru my husband's email. He received this email just this morning. Thanks.

my parents ecas status has now changed to Decision Made. last week it was on medical results received.
does that update that fast and it means someone will be contacting us shortly regarding next steps?

Here is what ecas is showing now:
We received your application for permanent residence on ......

We started processing your application on May 11, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

My Parents did an Upfront medical as per approval letter. Hopefully the medical will be transferred to LVO London soon. Have not heard anything from LVO after the file was transferred in April. I think if you get a upfront medical request , the Physicians will have send it out on proper forms as per requirement.

Hi zeeshah. I believe the applicant himself/herself upon medical examination will be provided by the panel doctor with original Upfront form (whether E medical info sheet or the IMM1017B) and then the applicant will need to mail the said form to the LVO. Please double check your approval letter with regards to the instruction of sending the Upfront medical to your LVO.

I`ve seen number of people getting upfront medicals from LVO. Does anybody know if other VO also got upfront medicals ?
