How do you send your documents?
If courier, they must have it.
I sent mine in Sept, and Got the AOR at the end of Dec, but dated Dec 3rd, 2014

My online Status shows application received in July 2010
PR shows received in July 2010

I think you could double check your email, in case they sent via email.

Very new to this forum, but would like to ask after you received the AOR of additional doc. would the ecase status changed?

I sent in my additional doc in Oct 2014, and my application status is still saying application received July 2010.

I haven't received any AOR as of today, called CIC mid Feb they were not able to provide me with anything but told me would send in a request to re send the letter and told me to call back in March if i still don't get anything.

So frustrating since they are not able to tell my if they received my doc. or not.

i sent it through canada post register mail. tracking says arrived, but it's a PO box address so no one sign for it.

I thought about the email too, that's why i called them up and double check if they have my email address correct, the agent told me they would never send confirmation through email.

I got my AOR thru mail but ECAS didn't change when they sent me the AOR. ECAS only changed after a few days they emailed the approval letter on Jan. 27th, 2015.

Hope you get your AOR soon, same with the other members of our group who are still waiting for that AOR.

I am new to thistime line however I have read so many views of the form members and I am happy to see that people together are doing goodjob. My case is as under
Applied for Mothers sponsorship 10th October 2011
Additional document asked for in 30th July2014
Add document sent in Sep 2014
AOR confirming receipt AOR dated 16.09.2014
Sponsor approval received through email 18th Feb 2015 and file is transferred to CPC O
Our visa office is New Delhi
will you guide as to whether future process will be at ottawa or my mother who is in canada on supervise has to goto Delh
Whether supervisa medical done in august3,2014 and PCC sent dated 23.02.2014 will be vailid
What about landing in case of approval by cpc O
Any guy please guide me.

2 questions for you

1.was email sent to same email medical request was sent to.

2. How long were you given in email to submit passport to Ottawa, was it 30 days or 60 days.

Over 60% of files approved so far sent to Ottawa following July 2014 letter for documents.
I have updated this list.
No idea what order files are processed at Ottawa as medical requests are not in chronological order.

3 medical requests since the new year all in Feb.

Sorry In fact I applied for Mother sponsorship in Oct 2010 & not Oct 2011. Further CIC M vide letter DT 1.22.2014 rec received on 10 the Dec 2014 confirmed that my Mother's documents received by them on 16.09.2014 and are complete. On 18 the Feb 2015 received email conveying approval & informed that file has been sent to CPC Ottawa. I am Noe waiting further updatation Byee

Hello Everyone! Wonderful thread it is. Thanks to all members specially soonihope and jeleni for the extra efforts. My timeline for sponsership of my mother with one dependent (20 years old at the time of application)

Sponsership aapproval : Still waiting.

My queries for the senior members are:-
1) Does CIC treat applications with only parents differently than the applications with dependents? So far we have seen movement in the cases with parents only. If yes, that means files with dependents will take more time than the parents only files.
2) Is it true that there is a fixed time period of 6 months from the date of receiving of additional documents (12 sep 2014 in my case) to approve sponsership and then 2 months time period for PP request after medicals.
3) also the dependent is now nearing 25. Is he required to stay in college or can he get a job while waiting for sponsership approval. I guess employment will make immigration officer take more time on background check thus delaying the process.

Kindly advise on the above said queries.
