2007 applicant, Med expired, am I included in Backlog Slashing ?

Hi all,

I am 2007 applicant, my medical expired in first week of April 2012, i.e expired now, and still did not hear anything from cic london office, last communication with cic done on nov-2011 and replyed back with background check is not yet finished, and may take number of months.

Seniors and Consultants, Am I included in the backlog shlashing, or Not ? Thanks in advance for your reply, it will really help.

It seems that your application passed the eligibility review and it was In Process since you finished medical. So, hopefully, you are safe. BTW, apply caips note to find the actual scenario of your application. Best of luck!!

My representative advise me to wait and avoid sending caips, he said avoid disturbance to your application, i dont know why? Will it realy disturb ?

Nope, its totally wrong. Caips never reflects anything on your application. Neither positively, nor negatively. You just retrieve information and get updates at your own. That's it.

Thanks for your reply, but his point is not to be worried, and he is sure that since i did the medical then 100% sure that cic already finished the deciion stage, he said no way they send the medical for an applicant without a decision, is this true ?

Ya, issuing medical means your application is positive.
