oh, thanx god
is this true???
but i have final decision = 0 on my caips report!! does that mean anything?

Since Damascus is no mor eand Ankara is now the office taking care of all the applicants did anyone get their status showing a transfer of their application to Ankara?
people who are transferred to ANkara might get processed, those still in now closed Damascus probably will be returned....
post where your application is in your status.

Dear All

finally it came to an end , it seems like the canadian immigration fired the bullet of mercy on us , alhtough i'm deeply frustrated but i think there is no other choice although I myself wouldnt mind to waite the extra years .

anyways i wish all of you who passed the asessment a good luck and a fast processing hopfully

i wanted to ask the experts a question , if i want to apply now as a FSW can i do it now , as my category (specialist physician) had already reached the cap of 500 , does this means i could apply now and i will be considered as (first come first served ) for next year , OR I HAVE TO WAITE UNTIL THE OPEN THE CAP NEXT YEAR?

THANKS ALL

Dear Brother:

Now our door is open. Your profession is highly demand-able in Canada. Get ready with all papers and submit application when CIC will announce new NOC for June-July, 2012.

If you do so, then it will not take 8 months for final decision.

Regards,

Md. Jahangir Alam

Hi guys, if anybody know the answer i would appreciate it. My caips notes show points=70 ps=1 i think this is the primary decision and the seldec shows 4. and both made on the dame day, in August 2010. am i going to continue or should i apply again under the new system?

Thanks

Q3. Is there any reason I would not get my refund?

The proposed changes are intended to be retroactive to March 29, 2012. If an immigration officer had refused your application based on selection criteria before that date, you will not get a refund.

Q4. What does a "decision based on selection criteria" mean?

A "decision based on selection criteria" means that an immigration officer:
has assessed your FSW application against the points grid, and
has made a decision on whether or not you meet the selection criteria of the program.
Currently, the pass mark is 67 points out of a grid worth 100 points. The grid considers the person's:

ability in English and/or French
education
work experience
age
whether they have a job already arranged in Canada (arranged employment), and
how well they might adapt to living in Canada (which awards points for things like previous work or study in Canada, spouse's education and relatives in Canada).
If your application is successful, you would move to the next phase (i.e. admissibility). At that point you would be checked against health, security and criminality requirements before being allowed to enter Canada.

If you do not score at least 67 on the FSW points grid, your application would be refused and CIC would inform you of the decision.

It means your status must have reached IN PROCESS with a date to get bypassed from this proposed law. an I/O asses your file only when you see your Ecas reaches IN PROCESS with a date of commencement of processing

Q5. How would I get my refund?

More details on the proposed change will be announced soon. Once the proposal is approved through Parliament, CIC will begin to return the fees.

Details will be available on the CIC website.

Q6. What options would I have if my application is removed from the backlog?

If your file is closed by CIC, you may re-apply under the current FSW criteria. If you have the skills Canada needs now, your application would likely be processed much faster – new FSW applications are processed within 6-12 months.

Things should be clear now.

what will happen to those who updated their files and didnt get their MR yet?
do any one have the right answer?

20,000 will be excluded from the new proposed law, does any one know the approximate number of people who updated their files?? if it is around 20,000 then we who updated their files may be included in the exclusion, if the number is more then i think no one knows the answer by now!!

The safety boundary for the awaiting Pre Feb 2008 applicants is if they have already reached IN PROCESS and their SELDEC has a date. better everyone order CAIPS to know this.

hey guys we started our application in 2006 and i have read the news about cancelling the application before 2008 , i would like to notify you that we had a file update in Dec. 2011 and in Jan 16 we have received the MR .. would that bring any good news ? or still could get rejection due to these news ?

Hi guys

I got the File Number on jul 2005

My documents where transferred to Warsaw 2009 from Damascus after been updated.

went to an interview in Amman last December

Waiting for MR since then

Do you think there is any hope????
