Hi all,
Thank you Hassan for encouragment, I believe that this path requires pacience and slow breathing, however, what makes me feel nervous is that some people applied tens of months after me under the new law and recieved their medicals. One of my friends applied in 2008 and he is now in canada!!! :-[ any way we have nothing to do exept waiting, have we?

Dears,

Its a Waiting game.
Riwa don't lose hope, all you need is patience, you've come that far...

Let's discuss Caips, is it really not recommended? does it delay the application? As far as I know, it doesnt, and to be efficient, the best time to ask for caips is:

1- When you apply, to check when is your BFDATE (Brought forward date, its the expected day to assess/resume the application)
2- If you are asked for an interview.

What do you think guys, I was thinking of getting my CAIPS lately, and I know it will be an empty document, only containing my BFDATE...

youskal, riwa, and all other's..
CAIPS is not a bad option to take, it really gives you the BFDATE and generally shed some light on your application status, i think it will be recomended for old applicants like you, who have been waiting over 50 months!!! i don't think CIC will question or will further delay your application if you ordered CAIPS, i suggest for some of you who have good lawyers to ask their opinion about this, but in inpricple their shouldn't be a problem!

Hi Dam2006,

CAIPS: Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System, its the software used by Immigration officers in CHC's to manage and process immigration applications.
CAIPS Notes: Its the report that contains results, schedules and notes about the immigrant application
BFDate: Brought forward date, its the expected day to assess/resume the application, when you are in queue or when they are waiting for documentation from your side, your file is always given a BFDATE in order for them to be informed when they should carry on with the application.

There are entities or firms that can get you your caips, you have to pay a fee and sign a paper stating that you agree that this entity can bring this info, its like hiring a representative but only for this particular function and temporary. I hope this covers it.

Hi Youskal,

Thanks alot mate, do you know anybody who has done it? is it helpful i.e does the result reflect the truth?

Hi Dear,

To be honest I don't know a friend who did it, but i read in the forums about alot of poeple doing it, and yes I believe its helpful.

It should reflect the truth since the report is an exact printout from the system used by immigration officers. They send it to you AS IS.

Are you thinking of doing it? because as I stated in an earlier reply, i'm seriously thinking of getting my caips report.

Hi Youskal,

That is very helpful but i think i am going to watch and wait at the time being.

Thanks

Hihihi..

Hey Dam2006, I read in a thread in another blog that CIC plan to finish all OLD APPLICANTS by end of 2010. I find that hard to acheive and beleive, it might be hearsay. The only CHC I know that might finalize all old cases by end of 2010 is CHC LONDON, since its the only office now working on 2007, and need to finalize until FEB 2008 to finish all oldies. What do you think?

Hi,

I think if the news is not from the cic then it is very likely to be unreliable unfortunately.

We still hope the best

Another month :-[
no news from there (Warsaw) :-[
I've been waiting now for almost 68 months :-[
Waiting is killing me :-[
is that a poem?
