My SO received a letter from Lima VO for additional information because he is a law enforcement officer. Says that process takes about three weeks and that additional processes may take 18 months!!!

Has anyone had this before?

Someone who is a police officer or military from a country with a shaky human rights record can expect longer processing times. If they were low-level and haven't served very long, the process probably wouldn't take as long as it might.

He hasn't served that long and was never in a location with this sort of conflict, so hoping that it will not take so long.
