109 Days !!! what does it mean ???

It is mentioned in CIC , that the current processing time of PR renewal is 109 days , for applications received until 14 Sept. .. , I applied on 5 Oct., and my file transferred to a local office in Toronto.
My question is :
Can I pick my new PR card on 25 of Jan. 2010 ???

They will send you a letter and give you a time and date for pickup. It might not be exactly 109 days but somewhere around there.

if PR card expires during waiting time, will it be still valid during the waiting time?

No, it will not, so in that situation you would have a gap without a PR card.

You still have PR status and all the rights of a PR; only international travel would be complicated.
