1 years Masters

Hi All,

I have done my B.Tech back in 2007 from Punjab. I am thinking of getting into a college in Canada.
Something like for a year may be. Will a year of M.Sc give me the same CRS score as Masters of 2 years? Does it matter if it is M.Sc or Masters of Engineering? Is there someone who did that already?

It does NOT matter if it is M.Sc or Masters of Engineering or any other Masters. Correct?

It does NOT matter if it is 1 year or 2 year course. As long it is at least 1 year.(interpreting from below text) Correct?

on CRS points calculator it says:

"Degree, diploma or certificate of three years of longer OR a Master's, professional or doctoral degree of at least one academic year"

Sorry, one more- does it matter if I do Masters in any other field not related to my current occupation or previous Bachelor's? For example, I did my Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. Now, if I do my Master's in Law, or any thing else. Will I still get the same CRS Points for Master's?

Yes no difference a masters is a masters in Canada. You will have to go to a university not college.

Thanks for quick reply. Appreciate that. I will check on that. I searched some schools online, but did not pay attention to whether they are a college or a university.
