1 day short from 12 months experience - need Help

I needed help regarding my case for CEC. I got my 1 year PGWP last year; valid from 9th July 2013 to 9th July 2014. I started my job on 11th July last year. So my 365 days (12 months) should complete on 10th July this year. But since I can only work till 9th July, I would be short of one day in my experience. Should that be a problem? I called CIC regarding this 2 times. First time they said it shouldn't be a problem, and the other time they said it depends on the officer who is checking my file.
I have worked with two companies during my this almost 1yr experience. My second issue is the company, with whom I worked first, is shutting down this August. The department in which I have worked is already closed. So how can the CEC officer verify the validity of my experience in that company? The best I can do is include the T4, NOA, pay stubs (as many as possible, a few might be missing) along with my reference letter (but they cannot call them to verify it).

You might have to look at other options other than CEC. Look at the PNP program if that suits you, other than that, I will say look if your current company will get an LMO for you.

You should apply for work permit extension. Even though it will be declined (for not providing LMO), you will be on "Implied status" and will be able to work until you get the refusal letter. It will come in about a month, so you will have that additional month which will count for your 1 year work experience. Then you'll have total of 1year 1month work experience, which is more than enough to apply for CEC

I think this can be discussed. As per CIC document regarding CEC, this quote can be found:

Note: Work experience acquired while under implied status will be considered as eligible
work experience under the CEC, provided the applicant continued to work in Canada
under the same conditions as their original work permit until a decision was made on
their application for a work permit extension.

It says "until a decision was made", so it could be either approval or rejection.

Firstly, you definitely need twelve clear months of full-time work experience. You've left it very late to do something about this.

As for sending in a frivolous application for a work permit extension, it depends what you are trying to achieve. You may be able to continue working during this time, but there is some precedent for them not counting the work experience toward CEC. If you have nothing to lose, then it may be worth a try anyway.

We do know from the instruction guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5553ETOC.asp) that "if your application is returned as ‘incomplete’, it is considered to have never been submitted and therefore you would not benefit from ‘implied status’ or the ability to continue working until a decision is made."
