I filed a complaint with NSIRA on Sep 9, 2026. beacsue my spouse A34 directly sent IRCC to CSIS on Sep 9, 2024, it is now marking 2 years. Will see how it goes: PR Non-Express Entry, AR: Feb 17, 2024 Everything passed, including the principal applicant's A34 from CBSA, but we've been waiting...- Jozef001

A34 completed for me, but the dependent PR background check is still "In Progress", anyone else in the same situation?
Same here, mate. We are from Turkmenistan (being from a former Soviet country scares IRCC so much, I guess), and we have been an independent country since 1991. 35 years now, but no IRCC still sends all of us for the comprehensive background check even though we have been living here in Canada...- Jozef001

btw IRCC sent both of us to CC check in Aug 2026 (I am the principal applicant). Mine got cleared in April 2026, but still waiting for her cc. She also never worked in the military, etc.- Jozef001

Same here. Non-exp PNP (teer1 job), submitted Feb 2024. All parts are completed and marked as passed (based on the GCMS and CBSA notes except for Comprehensive security/background screening, which has been in progress since Aug/Sep 2024 (23 months) and is still waiting.
