    We’ve seen processing be closer to 5 years although don’t know exact processing time these days at different offices. There are large backlogs and a reduced annual quota so processing is very slow.

    That is quite risky. IRCC seems to allow something under a month because that would be very generous paid vacation time in Canada. If you are out of Canada for multiple months you are not really establishing your life in Canada.
