CEC ITA Dilemma: Foreign Work Experience Was 2y11m at ITA – System Gave Full Points

Sure if you list them in personal history. I would also attach a letter of explanation of why you made the change.

    I need your Advice

A score of 385 is nowhere close to what is needed these days unless you know French. Trying to extend your stay even as a visitor makes no sense and you should have already been making plans to return home knowing your work permit extension with no grounds would be denied. You actually got quite...

PR (Permanent Resident) applied from Quebec in April 2023 as a Refugee (Protected Person) and now it’s 2026

Unclear why employment is not a factor for you but even you are unemployed in Quebec and have no plan for trying to find employment outside Quebec the cost of living is in general low compared to many parts of Canada and that needs to be a factor when it comes to leaving Quebec. Whether you can...

CEC ITA Dilemma: Foreign Work Experience Was 2y11m at ITA – System Gave Full Points

As long as you have the points when you submit your application you should be fine. That means you can only submit your application when you have the 3 years of work experience versus at any point after receiving ITA. This is a fairly common scenario.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Would suggest posting under Quebec immigration to see if your post gets more traction there. Realistically it could easily take around a year if not longer. It really depends what the current backlog is like. The backlog to go from AIP to PR outside Quebec is often taking over a year as well...

Super visa - Entry after/before June 2023 or July 2022?

Going to the border is not a good idea. Try to extend via visitor record or return home for a while a supervisa remains a visitor visa and if there are concerns that a parent is trying to live in Canada and not just visit then parent could be easily denied reentry. Many parents are not returning...

Need help with sponsorship for dependent child in Canada

Would add that it could take around another year to process the sponsorship where she won’t have the ability to work, study, may not have access to healthcare depending on the province, etc. They will also have to try and extend her status as a visitor at a certain point. It may not make sense...

Inland Spousal sponsorship in MB moving to QC

You no longer qualify for spousal sponsorship outside Quebec as a Quebec resident. The application should be denied and if it somehow it is missed that you have moved to Quebec you could be later accused of misrepresentation if you land on that spousal sponsorship. Speak to a different...

Inland Spousal sponsorship in MB moving to QC

Report the immigration lawyer if they gave you that advice. You can’t live in Quebec and qualify for spousal sponsorship other than in Quebec. You are correct that it is closed at the moment but you need to try to apply when open again.

    Remote working while visiting girlfriend

Not true. Employer can’t have any Canadian offices or clients/customers.

Inland Spousal sponsorship in MB moving to QC

You no longer qualify for inland spousal sponsorship and must apply for Quebec spousal sponsorship. If you land under the current application that would be misrepresentation. Is your spouse In Quebec with you?

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

What government say they will do and what they actually can do based on the law or what they do is often very different. If you are considering anyone who has AOR for H&C to be in progress then that doesn’t fix the total non-functional H&C program.

    Remote working while visiting girlfriend

Only real option is to come to visit for a short period of time and not work.

Guidance Needed: Moving Out of Quebec After PR Application Submission

As soon as possible or before submitting their application is correct advice. When considering CEC they should already be looking for employment opportunities outside Quebec, identifying where they would like to move, etc. All these things take time.

Mistakenly got reported to reported to Toronto Crime Stoppers

I know that but calling crime stoppers and trying to withdraw a statement would not stop them from passing on the tip to the relevant organization.

    Remote working while visiting girlfriend

Yes this would be an issue if your employer has offices in Canada or customers/clients in Canada.
