UPFRONT MEDICAL EXAM FOR IN CANADA EE NON ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE

That is extremely risky these days to list spouse as non-accompanying just for CRS score. That could easily lead to PFL and refusal. What once was possible is no longer possible when it comes to IRCC. Using Canadian medical history yet listing as non-accompanying is in itself contradictory.

    Visitor visa processing 2.5 years

Your only option is likely writ of mandamus to force IRCC to make a decision. As a Russian without permanent status elsewhere you sadly are viewed as a liability these days.

    Parents & Grandparents Program(PGP) 2024

Yes it sometimes happens. There is no common timeline between both. Prearrival is an administrative step that happens any time after eligibility and is not really related to processing timelines. Is this their first medical? Have they passed their backgrounds check?

Timelines for the outcome of an interview are extremely variable but within a month is a fairly common response time. Very common not the be given a decision during the interview. That doesn’t mean anything in terms of the outcome. You just had the interview so it is understandable why you...

All 2022 applicants kindly share your timeline here so we could keep tracking our applications submitted PR application August 2022.

You are essentially in a long queue for just the Quebec applicants. While Canada has added extra quota for PR for protected people that will only likely speed up processing outside Quebec. Would suggest posting under Quebec immigration where you may get more accurate timelines.

SuperVisa for parents from India - their visitor visa was rejected twice

IRCC does have to ask for more records before denying a TRV. Expect your father to face the same issue with a supervisa and likely longer processing. You may want your mother to apply separately if she is prepared to visit without your father.

Whether you can support a life driving Uber and how saturated the market is already should be a consideration. So should things like the cost of insurance.
